When and where will MIFF 2012 take place?
The MIFF 2012 will take place from 6 – 10 March 2012 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) and Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC).
What is the distance between the 2 venues?
Approximately 10 - 15 minutes drive, with non-stop free shuttle available during show days.
What are the exhibition's opening hours?
6 – 10 March 2012, Tuesday to Saturday, 0930 to 1800 hrs. Registration counters will be closed 30 minutes before the exhibition's closing time.
Are there any shuttle services available between the venues?
Yes. Fairground shuttle transfer is available between PWTC and MECC during show days from 0930hrs to 1730hrs. Evening hotel transfer is available from all venues back to official hotels during show days from 1800hrs to 1900hrs.
Are there any shuttle services available from the airport?
Yes. Please visit MIFF 2012 Courtesy Counter, located at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport for airport transfer assistance.
Who can attend the show?
MIFF 2012 is open to trade buyers from the industry and invited guests. Trade buyers must present their business card to obtain an entry pass to the exhibition.
What are the conditions for admission to the show?
If you have pre-registered yourself, please go to the pre-registered visitor counters to collect your show kit with your admission pass or barcode number that you have received in advance. If you have missed the pre-registration deadline, please present your business card to register at the visitor registration counters for an admission pass.
What is the entrance fee for MIFF 2012?
Entrance fee is RM20 for the whole duration of the show.
Is the show open to the general public?
MIFF 2012 is open to public on 10th March, the last day of the exhibition.
Can children attend the show?
Persons under the age of 16 are not allowed to enter the exhibition halls.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is strictly casual business attire. No shorts, singlet or slippers are allowed. The organiser has the right to refuse entry to anyone who is inappropriately dressed.
Can students attend the show?
Students can visit the show on 9 and 10 March 2012 by presenting their student ID cards at the registration counters for free admission.
Can visitors take pictures at the show?
Photography and videography are not allowed at the show without prior notice.
What is visitor pre-registration?
Pre-registration allows trade visitors to register for free admission passes in advance by receiving them via mail before the exhibition. With pre-registration, you can avoid long queues at registration counters for a hassle free entry into the venue.
How can I pre-register myself for an admission pass?

What can I do if I do not receive my admission pass before the show?
First, please check with the Organiser if your registration is successful. If yes, you will receive your barcode number from the Organiser via e-mail. You can collect your admission pass with the barcode number at the registration counters during show days.
What can I do if I have lost my admission pass after I have pre-registered?
At the pre-registered visitor counters, inform the staff your barcode number and get a reprint of your admission pass on the spot.
What can I do if more than one person from my company plans to visit the show?
Please provide us the name and designation of all visitors for visitor registration. The Organiser will issue separate admission passes for each visitor.
How do I communicate a change of visitor's name or address?
Please send us the new name or address, specifying your old address and all your new contact information (name, designation, company name, full address, telephone, fax and e-mail). Please send the details by e-mail (register@miff.com.my) or fax (+603 9286 1551).
